Introducing Martin Sainty

Martin Sainty, Palliative Care CNS and Team Leader, is a hugely creative talent and we are thrilled that he is going to be sharing some of his favourite bands and musical musings with us.

In the City. Martin is set to play his virtual way around the UK, visiting cities, digging out the local bands whilst name checking a few pubs and record shops. Who wants to set him off on his musical journey? Suggest a destination in the comments and return next month to find out where he got to and what he found!

Album of the Month. Join Martin as he shares a new album with us each month. Get in touch with albums that have got you through the last 12 months. It could be a new release or something old that people should hear.

During Covid-19 many have turned more and more to music – from singing in the balconies, in the streets or in your kitchen. There’s been plenty for all. Songs are helping us reflect, grieve or dance. Some people have turned to social media or some have found solace in tunes close to their heart.

Here Martin shares with us what he’s been listening to in 2020 – top tunes, standout groups and  musicians that have helped get him through the last 12 months.
