In May this year the Arts Team sought the shoes of our staff for an exhibition, titled Stepping Out. The Arts Team were delighted by the response from staff and amazed at the variety of shoes proffered. The first photographs are now installed on the main corridor at York Hospital, between junctions 5 & 6.
The exhibition features the shoes of staff who work in our trust. It shows the variety of interests our staff pursue when they step out of the workplace and into another world. These are the shoes that help staff follow their passions, achieve their personal goals, have fun, develop their skills, connect with people, offer escapism and generally make themselves feel good!
The exhibition is in two parts and Stepping Out part 2 will follow.
Thank you to all staff who contributed their time and shoes to this project.

Also, exhibiting on the main corridor is York portrait artist, Sue Clayton, whose exhibition celebrates York City F.C and its band of loyal supporters.
