We, the Arts Team, are showcasing staff shoes in a series of photographs, for our Stepping Out exhibition this summer. The exhibition will be at York hospital and on CultureClub.Social.
We would love to hear from staff who have a special pair of shoes that help them step outside of work into another world. Do your shoes take you to your happy place, have they danced across a ballroom or trodden across your allotment? Do they take you on adventures climbing mountains or cycling across the country? Do they have a story to tell?
Please bring your shoes along to Nightingale’s Courtyard (opposite the chapel on the main corridor at York hospital) on Wednesday 18th May between 11:30am and 1:30pm and Elly from the Arts Team will photograph them for the exhibition. As a special treat professional musicians Sarah Dean & Chris Bartram will be joining us and showcasing live music for patients, visitors & staff to enjoy. Chris and Sarah currently perform on the dementia ward at York hospital.
