There are three staff members talking from the Trust for the great National ‘Pint of Science’ festival – Jillian Webster, Luke Madge and our very own Griselda Goldsbrough from the Arts Team!

A series of four diverse talks discussing how we are influenced by our interactions with the natural world, how art can be used as a connection between science and health, what ‘bad cholesterol’ actually means and what can we do about it , and finally does exercise do more harm than good?

Film Club

A Season of Film at York Theatre Royal 22 April – 8 July 

Working in partnership with York Theatre Royal, Aesthetica are launching a new Film Club with a Season of Independent film, which looks at how the big screen helps us to make sense of the past, present and future. 

The Film Club runs 22 April until 8 July. There are selections of comedies, documentaries, animation, thrillers and family friendly screenings. The films in Aesthetica Season of Film reflect wider national and local events including Earth Day and York Pride as well as complementing some of the shows on stage at the theatre.
