Reading for Wellbeing Virtual Book Group September meeting

Hello all,

Last Wednesday the Book Group met to discuss Peter James’ ‘Wish You Were Dead’. Overall we enjoyed it, though our perceptive members did pick up on some plot holes! As usual our discussion ranged far and wide, from how far in advance we planned our family holidays when we were children, to being fooled by the quality of hotel websites, to recommending other crime writers to each other. Some members of the group were keen to pick up another Peter James in the future, so I’m counting that as a Book Group success!

The next meeting of the Reading for Wellbeing Virtual Book Group is taking place on Wednesday 1st September at 7-8pm via WebEx.

This month we will be discussing a full length novel: the multi-award winning ‘Hamnet’ by Maggie O’Farrell.

We don’t own any copies of this in the Trust Library, but it can be purchased as an e-book from Amazon or the Kobo store or as a paperback from Waterstones, WHSmith, Blackwell’s, Hive or Bookshop.org.

If you have any further questions about the Virtual Book Group, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes,

Kathryn Aylward
