Hello everyone – I hope you are all doing well! This week I would like to share with you a couple of my favourite songs that I have discovered this month and I really hope you enjoy listening through them. As always, feel free to dip in and out of these as you like! 🙂
Skeletons – Easy Life (3 mins)
I first heard Easy Life’s new song Skeletons on Radio 1 the other week and was instantly put in a good mood with their upbeat vibes. This track is also part of their new album Life’s a Beach which might be worth checking out if you enjoy their sound!
When – dodie (3.5 mins)
Since hearing the first version of this song in 2016, I didn’t know how this vulnerable piece could get any more emotional. Now with this new recording of When from her debut album Build a Problem, dodie has managed to tug at the heartstrings once more. This may be best listened to with headphones to feel the full impact of the string section!
Green Grass – Ellie Dixon (3 mins)
This is definitely one for the summer playlists! Green Grass is full of Dixon’s distinct style and it holds such a positive message on how we should be viewing our lives.
Last Time (Acoustic) – Adam Melchor (3 mins)
Last Time came up in one of my mixes on Spotify and I really love this acoustic version that Adam Melchor released back in January. The recording is quite muffled, but I think it is a great addition to the atmosphere of this personal sounding piece.
Thank you for reading and listening through this post, I hope you have enjoyed it! If you have any suggestions or feedback, please feel free to add a comment at the bottom of this page.
Thanks again!
