This year World Book Night is taking place on Friday 23rd April 2021. The Trust Library Service has successfully applied for a set of books from the Reading Agency, which have now been delivered!
We have received 80 copies of ‘Stories to Make You Smile’ – a special collection of short stories by well-known names such as Jenny Éclair, Mark Watson, Dorothy Koomson, and more. The publisher describes the stories as ‘rich in wit and humour, guaranteed to lift your spirits and warm your heart’.
To receive your free copy of ‘Stories to Make You Smile’, just pop into one of the Trust Library sites at York or Scarborough and ask a member of library staff. All members of Trust staff are welcome. If you’re not already a member of the Trust Library Service, it’s a great time to join!
Copies are available on a first come, first served basis. If you don’t manage to get a copy in time, you can also pre-order it as a free ebook or audiobook.
